Hy guys, I talk you of “ippica”! My passion

The term ipplica indicates the disciplines of sports riding where the horse runs on an accompanied track (hippodrome). In galloping races a thoroughbred horse (predominantly the English Purosangue) is used, which is mounted by the jockey, who is raised on a small and light saddle. In trotting races the trotter horse is used, whose driver (Driver) sits on a small 2-wheeled carriage, called “sulky”. Less common specialties include: trotting races (trotting horse but with a jockey in the saddle), trotting races for couples (two horses paired with a single sulky), the races at the exchange. The breeding of these athletic horses requires great dedication and passion. Horses are destined for preparation for racing at the age of 18 months and start running from the second year of life. The selection takes place both in the genetic field and in the morphological one.
